Recently, the annual and commending meeting for Mental Health Education of Shandong Province (SMHE) was held in Shandong Forestry Building. More than 200 representatives from schools andlocal school authorities attended the meeting. Chen Dehai, vice principal of AHS, participated in it as a director of the SMHE Research Association. The advanced units and individuals received recognitions of their achievements thus far accordingly, including AHS and Lu Min, the psychology counselor of AHS.

The AHS psychological consultation center was set up in 1990. AHS is one of the first high schools to be equipped with formal psychology consultation center and a professional counselor in Shandong Province. By full implementation of quality education, AHS completes its mental health education system and widens the channel of mental health education by developing students’ abilities and stressing the importance of students’ mental health. As one of the first members of the SMHE Research Association, AHS has been constantly honored as the Advanced Unit of Mental Health Education for many times.
