The 2012 History Carnival was held in the International Financial Museum，located in Chaoyang Park in Beijing during 14^th-18^thin November. The 2012 History Carnival is the first public history festival inChina, hosted byRead Historymagazine, and Beijing Kuangshi International Auction Ltd. cooperating with many history and culture institutions. It contains 16 activities in five columns including warming up, telling, performance, exhibition, national memories theme forum and national memories salutation ceremony.

The history teacher Meng Wei together with students Xu Yiding and Chen Lisha took part in the Carnival at invitation. Xu Yiding, student from Class 2 Grade 2, told of the story of his grandpa’s brother in the activity of telling of the stories of micro celebrities, which is highly spoken of by Mr. ShiHang, an honored guest of the activity. In the national memories theme forum held in the afternoon of 18^th, Mrs. Meng and student ChenLisha gave a speech respectively, illuminating their understanding of public dissemination and education of history in the Internet age, winning high praise of the experts and scholars attending the meeting.

Teachers and students of AHS were invited to this history carnival due to their outstanding achievements in the National Middle School Students History Writing Competition, which has been held twice in the last two years. The profound culture of AHS and the exploring spirits of students were fully represented in the activity, as well as the educating concept of AHS, that is, students oriented and all around development.
