During the summer camp organized byFudanUniversityfor students with talent in informatics, Xing Haoming, a student in Grade 2010 of Attached School of Shandong Normal University (AHS) presented his outstanding performance and was recruited in advance intoFudanUniversityas a freshman of Grade 2013 after going through fierce competitions of academic test, computer operation and interview.

Xing Haoming has won the First Prize for twice in Informatics Olympiad of Shandong Province respectively in his first and second year of high school and in 2012 was selected into Olympiad Team of Shandong Province. As one of the representatives ofShandongProvince, Xing Haoming attended the 29th National Olympiad in Informatics and won the Bronze, thus qualified to be recommended for admission into key universities. AHS has made great achievements in Informatics Olympiad and so far up to 123 students have won Informatics Olympiad prizes and obtained the qualification for recommended admission.

In accordance with the spirit ofNational Medium and Long-term Educational Reform and Development Plan, “students in high school featuring comprehensive development and outstanding achievement are qualified for recommendation”. Under the decision made by Enrollment Committee of Fudan University, the 2012 Summer Camp was opened and those participants who had been qualified to be recommended for university admission and performed well in Summer Camp would be enrolled by Fudan University independently. More than 100 Summer Camp participants are all graduates of the year 2013 who had gained the qualification for recommended admission and been publicized for people’s supervision inwww.gaokao.chsi.com.cn.
