From June 23 to 24, the mass-selection of “2012Lin Sanity Basketball Training Camp” (Jinan Stop) was held in Huangting Gym, attracting nationwide basketball teams toJinan. Men’s Basketball Team of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) recommended 22 team members to take part in the competition, among whom Chen Xiaolong and Guo Pengbo were successfully admitted into the final lineup consisting of 10 players. AHS Men’s Basketball Team was one of the teams which provided the largest number of players for the training camp.

Over the two-day selection, up to 43 players were initially selected out of all the applicants whose over-all quality was relatively parallel, while after the training and further observation in the morning of June 24, 22 players were selected out for the final run-off, during which 10 finally stood out. AHS Men’s Basketball Team chose 22 of its members to attend the mass selection and the 22 players presented outstanding performance, winning applauses from the audience present then, among them 4 members were listed for final selection and subsequently Chen Xiaolong and Guo Pengbo were successfully admitted into the final lineup, making up one fifth of the final lineup. Chen Xiaolong, Point Guard of AHS Men’s Basketball Team (only 16 years old,181cmhigh), exhibited better skills in offending and defending, moving, ball passing and backing-up and therefore was counted as the best performer with a promising future.

The mass selection of “Lin Sanity Basketball Training Camp” as a non-profit program recruited from young boys--those basketball lovers aging from 13 to 18 and aimed at passing through training to every basketball lover Lin’s spirit of keeping optimistic, persisting in making efforts, and constantly making great downturn in the match of life. After several stops of mass selection, the final elite selection will be staged inDongguan,GuangdongProvince.
