With Japanese teachers atWakayamaHigh School

Tian Mingquan, Dean of the Office of Academic Research, and Zhang Shaoni, teacher of Biology T&R Group, together with 10 students from High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS), visitedJapaneseWakayamaHigh Schoolfrom April 30^thto May 9^th, attending Japanese classes and exchanging ideas on studies. They received lots of warm welcome. They have right now successfully accomplished their learning visit and returned to school.

Attending Japanese classes and exchanging ideas on studies from Grade 1 to Grade 3 are the main schedule for the study tour, including classes of Chinese, modern literature, calligraphy, arts, music, computer, math, biology and so on. Besides, teachers and students from ASH visited the school library, swimming pool and sailing base, exchanging ideas on Chinese and Japanese education, teaching and teaching materials. The Chinese teachers and students stayed in Japanese family to experience Japanese education and family life. The seriousness and hospitality of the teachers, students and parents from the Japanese sister school impressed visitors from ASH a lot. Meanwhile, the experience of attending classes, communicating and visiting also inspired them a lot.

It is known that AHS andJapaneseWakayamaHigh Schoolhave set up formal sister school relationship in as early as August ,2002. Profound friendship has already been built during their more than 10 years of friendly exchanging history. In the past ten years, both sides have successfully operated mutual-researching and communicating activities, which has deepened the friendship between people of the two countries, especially the reinforcement of mutual understanding and trust between the youths of the two countries and of the cultural communication and cooperation between the two countries. Meanwhile, mutual communication and cooperation between the two schools is of great benefit to the mutual understanding and study of the education of the two countries.
