Recently students of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) made outstanding achievements in the 16^th“21^stCentury New Oriental Cup” National Speech Contest for Primary and Middle School Students. Xue Linchuan and Xu Yuqi advanced to the final. Chen Yuekun and Zhou Kexin won Grand Prize. Li Weiran, Wang Zijian and Han Zeyu were granted First Prize. Zhang Lan and Chen Gongze were endowed with Third Prize. Sun Linping and Feng Wenhui as facilitators were awarded First Prize and High School Attached to Shandong Normal University won the title of“Best Organizer”.

AHS has always been attaching importance to upgrading students’ core qualities and organizing a wide range of activities like English Poem Reading Competition, Campus Singers Contest, English Speech Competition and English Drama in view of improving their interest in English learning and nurturing their comprehensive qualities. All there have contributed to a rewarding outcome with a considerable number of students having made outstanding achievements in various English competitions.
