On December 25 High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) staged the 3^rdAHS Micro Film Award Ceremony together with AHS Campus Singer Contest. Present in the ceremony were Wang Hongyu, Standing Committee Member of CPC Committee of Shandong Normal University (SDU) and SDU Deputy Principal, Lu Deyi, Deputy Chief of Shandong Provincial Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres, Professor Li Haiou, Dean of School of Music of SDU, Professor Wei Fanjian, Deputy Dean of School of Music of SDU, Professor Chang Qing, Deputy Dean of School of Communication of SDU, Wang Yuzhang, Principal of AHS, Tan Yinghai, General Secretary of CPC Committee and Deputy Principal of AHS, and Liu Congjun, Deputy Principal of AHS. Teachers and students in the downtown schoolyard also attended the ceremony.

The ceremony started with an opening dance presented by AHS Hip-Hop Dance Association, followed by the red carpet moment, when film creators and facilitators walked through the red carpet to receive cheers from audience for their endeavors as well as their outstanding achievements.

In the ceremony were granted 9 Outstanding Film awards, 6 Best Film awards, 3 Most Popular Film awards and various individual awards like Best Post Production, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress. And last came the Award of Special Production granted to the film “The Deepest Love”, the winner of the first prize of 2017 China Youth Microfilm. Those prize winners respectively addressed their passionate and heart-felt testimonials. As Zhang Doudou, the Best Actress award winner, stated, “before learning to be an actor, one should first learn the personhood and it is the education received in High School Attached to Shandong Normal University that has been promoting me to make continuous progress, so I owe much gratitude to my school, which will further encourage me to pursue my dreams.”

High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) launched its first session of AHS Microfilm Contest in October, 2013. Since then two films, which won prizes in the 2^ndAHS Microfilm Contest and were recommended to attended China Youth Microfilm, respectively won the 2^ndprize and the 3^rdprize in the national microfilm contest. And those works that were recommended in the 3^rdAHS Microfilm Contest won prizes of various levels, marking great breakthroughs in the prize number as well as hierarchy.

AHS Microfilm Contest is one of the brand campus activities in AHS, intended to “foster quality students with AHS characteristics” based on its educational philosophy of “putting students first and achieving their comprehensive development”. Functioning as a stage for the personalized development of AHS students, AHS Microfilm Contest has well fostered and displayed their talents as well as their comprehensive qualities. Following the end of the award ceremony, the Campus Singers Contest commenced.
