The International Department of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) held a presentation of SAYA Overseas Education and Cultural Exchange Program in the lecture hall. The presentation was hosted by Sun Meinan from Ameson Education & Cultural Exchange Foundation and those Senior 1 students of AHS International Department and their parents attended the speech given by Miss Sun.

Miss Sun introduced in detail the program of cultural exchange. The applicants should first attend PAST, an English level test and then attain the chance of joining in this program. InAmericaprogram participants shall live in American students’ families and take American lessons together with local students. At the same time of listening to American classes and experiencing their teaching styles and a different teaching model, AHS students will host “A week of Chinese Culture”, when activities will be held to spread Chinese culture and promote mutual communication. As has been scheduled, students of AHS International Department will pay a visit toHarvardUniversity,YaleUniversity,StanfordUniversityand some other well-known American universities and also get chances to take conversations with university recruitment officials.

SAYA, that is Sino-American Youth Ambassadors Program, is a high-end cultural exchange program operated by a combination of Ameson Education & Cultural Exchange Foundation, U. S. Department of Education and the education bureau or educational administrations ofCaliforniaand a few other districts, aimed at nurturing those excellent youths to promote cultural exchanges of the two nations. Ci Jinping, President of PRC, and Biden, Vice President of USA, once met those youth ambassadors of Sino-American cultural exchange and highly praise their work and expressed their ardent expectations to Sino-American cultural exchanges.
