On October 22, Chinese Bridge-French education delegation paid a visit to High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS). A welcome ceremony was held, after which Tan Yinghai, General Secretary of AHS committee of CPC and Vice Principal of AHS, and Chen Dehai, Vice Principal of AHS held a talk with the delegation, also attended by Wang Bin, Director of Teaching Affairs Department of AHS, Wang Fangming, Director of AHS International Department, Yang Renyong, Director of AHS Administration Office, Yang Ping, Director of AHS Information Department and Li Min, Assistant of Director of AHS International Department.

Tan Yinghai addressed a welcome speech, expressing the warm welcome to the French friends coming afar and introducing AHS’s education and its achievements. The French guests then watched the propaganda film of AHS and made a deep communication with AHS about strengthening the mutual cultural exchange and the cooperation in Chinese education.

The delegation, made up of 20 French administrators of school regions and principals of high schools, came to China under the invitation of the Office of Chinese Language Council International to push forward the Chinese language education in French. As the only high school visited by the delegation in Shandong Province, AHS played an active part in deepening the French friends’ understanding of Chinese language and culture, promoting the Chinese language education in French and advancing Sino-French cultural exchange and cooperation.

AHS has made continuous efforts to implement a strategy of internationalization, strengthening the international exchange and exploring the international cooperation in education and students recruitment. Aimed at upgrading AHS’s educational philosophy, its educational ideal and the model of nurturing talents with an international view and raising AHS’s competitiveness, AHS has recruited students for Sino-American lessons in 2014 and 2015 and made frequent exchanges and communications after establishing brotherhood relationship with high schools in America, Japan, Britain, Australia, Singapore and Korea.
