On May 27, 2014, 2014 Students’ Association Exhibit was held simultaneously in the downtown campus and Xing fuliu school of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS). Tan Yinghai, general secretary of CPC Committee of AHS and vice headmaster, Zhuang Zengchen, vice general secretary of Youth League Committee of AHS and vice director of AHS Students Affairs Office, Zhang Jingting, vice general secretary of Youth League Committee of AHS, and Li wei, secretary of Youth League Committee of AHS attended the exhibit, which was sponsored by Students’ Association Department and under the assistance of other departments of Students’ union .

The exhibit functioned as a sum-up of those activities AHS students’ associations organized in the past academic year. Each association staged their achievements in various ways during the display, highlighted with a performance given by Dou Kaiyao, head of AHS Students’ Association Department of Students’ union . The exhibit ended up with an award ceremony in which Tan Yinghai and Zhuang Zengchen presented awards to advanced associations and spoke highly of the growth of AHS associations.

Rich and varied students’ association activities help enlarge students’ knowledge, provide chances to display their talent, and improve their abilities and qualities. More importantly, those activities bridge students’ in-school study and out-school life as well as promote the transformation of their knowledge into competence and at the same time embody AHS’s educational philosophy of “putting students first and achieving their comprehensive development” and its educational model of “students being the focus, activities being the approach and development being the objective”.
