Patrick Howley and Doctor Daniel Grdgg, researchers from Children Research Center of Yale University visited High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) in the afternoon of April 19^th. Wang Yuzhang, Principal of AHS, and Li Suhan, Dean of the Office, presented the Welcoming Ceremony and had a friendly talk with visitors. The meeting was hosted by Li Suhan.

Entrusted with the project of School Development Research undertaken by Children Research Center of Yale University, Patrick Howley and Doctor Daniel Grdgg visited primary and high schools ofChinato do practice and research. Wang Yuzhang introduced the basic information of AHS, and also made a detailed explanation of the overall education situation, school administration, foreign exchange of AHS. What’s more, both sides discussed such issues as different school-running philosophies betweenChinaand theUS, cultivation of students’ innovative thinking, co-cultivation of Chinese and American schools. The visitors introduced some information of the project, put a premium on teaching features and multi-perspective teaching model of AHS, and also expressed the desire to deepen friendly exchange.

After the meeting, both sides exchanged gifts with each other, with the hope of long-live friendship betweenChinaand theUS.
