Recently, High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) received a congratulating letter fromPekingUniversity, expressing congratulations to those AHS graduates who are studying inPekingUniversityand has won many prizes.

In this letter, Peking University acknowledges the efforts made by AHS to cultivate many excellent students in the past years who have been admitted into Peking University and points out that during the school year 2010-2011 many AHS graduates who are now studying in Peking University worked hard, did exceedingly well in their studies as well as integrated performances and won many different prizes in Peking University, becoming the model in their schoolmates. This letter also indicates that those graduates' growing benefits from the effort of AHS to cultivate them and hopes that more excellent graduates from AHS will study inPekingUniversityand realize their dreams.

As far as we know, the students mentioned in the letter were all excellent in both moral and academic performances when they were in AHS. One of them is Jing Miao, who graduated from AHS in 2008 and once won the silver medal in the 19^thInternational Biology Olympiad and the first prize in the 16^thNational High-school Biology Competition when in high school. Those students expressed their sincere appreciation and affection to their alma mater in their memoir or when they came back to AHS. They think it was the cultivation and care of AHS that explored their potentials, shaped their sound personality and build up their rich spirit. It is their life-long treasure to study in AHS and it is bound to benefit their whole life.
