On February 28, an official delegation in charge of international affairs of Miami Education Bureau paid a visit to High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS). Led by Mr. Yves Paradis, Director of International Affair Programs of Miami Education Bureau, and Mrs. Jenny Leveen, Dean of OHLA College of Miami Education Bureau and accompanied by Lu Chengyi, Director of Overseas Study Department of China Service Center of Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Wang Yuzhang, AHS Headmaster and Yang Renyong, Head of AHS Administration Office.

Having expressed the sincere welcome to friends coming afar from the United States, Wang Yuzhang then introduced the development and achievement AHS have harvested in recent years. In-depth communications were undertaken centering on education and bilateral cooperation.

AHS has been attaching considerable importance to promoting a strategy of internationalization. In view of achieving its educational ideal of “growing to be top-ranking nationwide and well-known worldwide”, AHS always pays attention to strengthening its international communication, making active explorations in educational cooperation, adopting an international vision to upgrade its educational philosophy, ideal and talent cultivation and accelerating to improve its competitiveness and thereby participate in the international competition of elementary education. Up to now AHS has combined to be sister schools with senior high schools in the United States, Japan, Britain, Australia, Singapore and Korea and undertaken frequent exchange visits with them.
